Pizza is becoming synonymous with...

We're pregnant!!!! Lynn was the first one to invite the family over for pizza in order to spring the awesome news that LZ was on his way... and Mike and I are very excited to extend the same "invitation" to announce our own baby. ~Savanah actually made the announcement....calling herself a "big sister" and waiting for everyone to put it together. =-) ~ I can't explain how good it feels to share the news. I believe that some may have known that something was going on and certainly everyone knew that we wanted to be pregnant....but up until now it has been such a private matter. The hundreds of shots, the many many appointments, the nervous giggles and yes, the tears.... and all while keeping a poker face. I'm looking forward to the next chapter being much more fun... 10 weeks 2 days and our peanut is doing great!

Something incredible is waiting to be known.

Soon enough I hope to be able to share our wonderful news.

say blastocyst ... ok cheese may be easier

This picture to the right may not look like much to you ... but it represents an enormous amount of love and quite a bit of commitment to Mike and I. What you see are two beautiful 5 day old embryos. Our embryos. They are actually called "blastocysts" once they reach this point. (150 cells or so) You probably already know, to some degree, that due to complications (scar tissue) from previous surgeries i've had, that both of my fallopian tubes have been rendered "unpassable" and that IVF is/was our only reasonable option for having children. That is probably way too much information...i apologize...i just wanted to offer some background as to how we got booked on this voyage.
