It's a girl!!!

pause.... ask the doctor to look again.... confirm.... ok now we can get excited....it's official. this is one of those milestones that was hard for me to wait patiently for. not that we had a preference one way or the other....but now, knowing, we can discuss names...i can visualize what she might look like...we can stop saying things like "he or she" and "the baby" whenever refering to her... it just brings a new "reality" to the table. of course if the doctor is correct (can they be wrong at this point?) then this makes Mike's father's "boy" prediction the very first time he has been wrong. he's had a 5 for 5 record so far. what is up with me not being able to keep a secret???? hee hee.
