figuring things out

Now that someone can get up on the couch I tend to find this a lot. Not turning the light on and off, that's new but just the fascination with being on the "edge", loving the curtain and playing with the light. I wish it were clearer so you could see her big proud smile!

Hi and thanks for stopping in to see what's new. Well as you can imagine, a LOT is new. Every day we witness Olivia growing right before our eyes. She is always thinking and putting things together. Gone are the days that we could just take something away from her and that be that. Now she will look at us, shake her head "no" that she knows she shouldn't have what ever it is but then ever so flirty she will smile and watch you with her eyes while her body takes her right back to whatever it was she just had taken away. Yes, she's playing us! Yes, we're suckers.

Savanah has taught her how to wave and say "bye" which is adorable and if she's in the right mood she may even give you an unsolicited kiss. Very sweet. Probably the biggest news (well my most anticipated news) is that she took two little shuffles on her own today. For Daddy of course! I saw it but it was not FOR me...she was trying to get to Mike. The last few days she has been doing a lot of standing with out support. Getting more and more brave. I don't even think she realized what she had done until we got so excited about it.

In the food realm it should be known that Mike and Dan have new competition at the dinner table when Connecticut Beef Supper is served. We couldn't shovel it in fast enough for her. Wow. She was literally screaming like a bird in between bites. Black bean burgers are another favorite of hers as well as yogurt, tacos, hummus, Travis' grilled salmon, and pancakes. Weird combinations listed like that. We haven't introduced honey or peanuts yet and she seems to really, really dislike eggs (except for the awesome juevos rancheros that Mike made the other morning w/ left over taco meat, cheese and sour cream on them....then she couldn't get enough).

Well enough "reading".... let me see if i have any new pictures/videos to post. I haven't been as good at taking pictures b/c I have been taking video but i'm still struggling w/ the format of the new videos so let me see what i have.

Finally just enough "fuzz" for the bow to stay in.
