Food and naps ...

I heard that at the baseball game with Daddy Olivia ate popcorn, a hotdog, a pretzel, a soda AND this ice cream!
Below is Olivia making a fashion statement on our way out to brunch.  Every child we saw was green with envy that they were not wearing flippers!

Fish heads fish heads rolly poly fish heads.  This grill snapper was giving us the evil eye even from the grave!

Olivia wanted to make something special for Gavin to eat so she put on her best dress and got busy in the kitchen.  What she has here is a half of an onion covered in sugar and then a thin layer of cherry preserves on top... then spooned out carefully and put in a small dish.  What a great big sister!

Above Gavin is so proud that he got inside this box to grab his toys.  Below, poor Olivia has such a cold right now.  She is such a trooper.

I can not believe that both of my little ones fell asleep in the pool (wait, that's not the really unbelievable part) at the SAME TIME!  I have been trying to sychronize their naps for 6 months with no luck and then one day I take them out for what was supposed to be a PRE nap swim and they both dozed off after just a few minutes of swimming.  It was dreamy for me too, to have quiet time in the pool.

I kid you not, when Olivia wakes up and wants her breakfast shake she no longer waits for me to get ready and get Gavin ready .... she scales the gate, gets the breakfast packet from the pantry, gets the sippy cup from the cupboard and goes in the fridge to get the pediasure and makes it herself!

Gavin no longer wants to bother with little cut up pieces of banana ... he wants the whole banana.  If you try to take it from him he will cut you!  Just kidding, he grabbed this knife from the table next to him by ssstteeetttccchhhiiinnggg.

Olivia LOVES broccoli.
