jumping the gun

i don't like to post pictures until i have had a chance to crop/correct (red eye), etc but these are too cute to wait.  when i get through the rest of the pictures i'll do a whole post dedicated to Carye's wedding!  =-)

Who has a superstitious Mom?  That's right....my girls do.  I can't help it.  The very day after Savanah took the one and only pictures of me pregnant with Olivia, she was born.  One day after I posted on here that I was feeling great, I went into labor.  I say this so that you might forgive me for the not posting this sooner.

Olivia is going to be a big sister! 

Olivia is excited to be a big sister, Savanah is excited about having a brother, Mike is happy to be having a son and I ... I am feeling so beyond fortunate I just can not describe it.

Is it possible to be anxious and patient at the same time?  Cautiously anxious?  I want to say that I can't wait until the day in December when I can kiss the little face in this picture (i mean just look at how cute those pouty lips are) ... but I know (first hand) how important it is that he stay put right where he is until the doctors give us the green light.  December will be here before we know it and just like he has important things to do before then (like fatten up) we have plenty to do to get ready as well.  We haven't even decided on a name!   Who do you think he looks like?
