Muddy, messy and just plain fun

Rainy days are for staying indoors ... helping cook and maybe making a mess.

OR you could go outside and play in the mud!

The heck with the little shovels, Daddy has this giant shovel.  Bigger shovel = more mud!

Once we got cleaned up Olivia wanted to dress up.  Like a bumble bee.  A swimmer bee.  In the picture below Olivia told me she was floating on the water like Kipper does in his show.

When it's sunny it's time for ice cream!

And snow?  Snow in August?  Yup!  This slope is steeper then it looks and she went faster then you'd think.

Face painting is tough because it melts quick!

Did you know they sold exploding chocolate ice cream?

Yes, Olivia got herself up and over thsi bar by herself.  When I have another minute I am going to post the video of her going up and all the way over like she was in gymnastics!

Today was a perfect day for a train ride.  The 100 degree heat spell has broken for the time being and Olivia and I were anxious to get out of the house and enjoy it.  Thank you for the invite Carye!
