Savanah's birthday and some fall fun

Happy Birthday to my first born!  Michael made Savanah this birthday cake.  I ALMOST felt guilty eating it.  Almost.

Some beautiful diamond earings from her love.
Savanah with PopPop and with Grandma at her birthday dinner.
 Celebrating with Auntie Carye too.
PopPop has his hands full with Olivia and her cousin Luca.  Can you believe Olivia is wearing a bow in her hair?
Uncle Travis, Auntie Lynna and Auntie Courtney all came out to celebrate with us!
The waitress didn't bring the spoons fast enough so Luca and Olivia dove in face first.

The temperature around here is still in the summer digits... 90's pretty much every day... but it didn't stop us from doing some fall festivities.  We went to a local farm for some fall fun...facepainting...cow milking... pony rides and more!

What a great personality

Rumor has it that there have been about 2 nights this week where had we been outside around 2am - we MAY have been comfortable in sweatshirts!  Can you believe it?  Sneaky Mother Nature ...
Well in hopes (and begs and pleads) for some cooler weather (during the day) soon ... I have picked my knitting needles back up.  How cute is Olivia in pink?  VERY!  I thought I would have to chase her around just to get her to try these on but in reality she was trying to put them on before I had even gotten the needles out.

Mike and I were washing our cars the other day and at one point I couldn't find my wash rag ...  Olivia was using it to wash her scooter!  =-)   She is so awesome!

Check out how good she is on her scooter.

I couldn't resist posting this next one because it goes to show that when she's done... she's done.  She cracks me up.

Finding fun in different places

Yes, I know, you are thinking that if Mike knew that I let this happen he would FREAK OUT but thanks to Crayola and their washable finger paints he never  has to know (unless of course he reads this blog).
Who knew how important washing your hands  WHILE finger painting was???  Olivia doesn't like the paint on her hands for more then a second.

I don't know what to say about her standing in the little bowl of water... except that it was inevitable.  =-)

During a break from swimming Olivia played Savanah in a game of ping pong.  Guess who won!
Above is Olivia driving just like  her sister...and below is Olivia being a passenger...again, just like her sister.  Ha ha ha.  (she is not really driving but she is really sleeping.)
