I was on such a posting frenzy and then .... home happened. 

Our visit in Florida ended on a great note as we spent the night with more great family.  I wish Mike had enough time from work that we could have spent more time with Uncle Dom and Aunt Paula but I am grateful for the time we did have. 

Olivia and Uncle Dom were instant pals.

The cows are quite a bit larger then Marley Jane but they didn't intimidate Olivia a bit!

Look at that big ol' tongue.  Blehk.  She wasn't even afraid when the big bull made his way over for an orange.

Olivia just shoved the orange and practically her whole hand right in his mouth. 

Well someone is up from her nap....if you can call 40 minutes a true nap.  I'll post again soon!

another fun day at the beach

It's January so how could we not take advantage of another beautiful day at the beach?  Olivia really loves the sand and teasing the waves.  She runs right up to the edge, screams "NnnnnnnnO!" to the ocean and then runs like heck so her feet don't get wet ... all the while laughing.

It's a  good thing she's pretty quick!

When people see her having such a good time they can't help but smile or stop to say hello and ask her lots of questions.  She even made a friend.

On two different days this little boy found his way to her.  He is visiting from Germany and apparently shares Olivia's love of the water....that was in that bucket....hee hee.

I think the Florida sun has really "grown" both Olivia and her cousin Luca on this visit.  They both seem to be growing up right before our eyes.  Great memories have been made this past week.

wanna go to the pea aye are kay?

Why hello out there.  Wanna come in and watch us have fun at the pea aye are kay?

Hee hee.... Lynn and I thought we were so slick by asking if the other was ready to go to the pea aye are kay (in case the other was NOT ready we didn't want to get the kids all excited about going) until Luca came out one morning and said "Mommy I'd really like to go to the P- A- R- K with Olivia today".  Guess he was on to us the whole time!

Talk about two peas in a pod!  Daddy came to visit!!!

I don't want to post so many pictures of the kids watching TV and give the impression that this is all they are doing.  They did a bit more of it earlier in the week b/c it was soooooo darn cold out but now that the weather has started getting warmer we are spending more time outdoors.  I'll download more of those pictures in the next day or so.

Olivia has a new ... compulsion?  Each time she takes her shoes and socks off she sits (or lays) to seperate each and every toe, checking for lint (and in

some cases - after the beach- sand).

I have so many videos to post but it is getting late.  Tomorrow I will try to organize and post some of them.  Good night.
