Cousins

I don't want to post so many pictures of the kids watching TV and give the impression that this is all they are doing.  They did a bit more of it earlier in the week b/c it was soooooo darn cold out but now that the weather has started getting warmer we are spending more time outdoors.  I'll download more of those pictures in the next day or so.

Olivia has a new ... compulsion?  Each time she takes her shoes and socks off she sits (or lays) to seperate each and every toe, checking for lint (and in

some cases - after the beach- sand).

I have so many videos to post but it is getting late.  Tomorrow I will try to organize and post some of them.  Good night.

Sunny....scratch that...freezing Florida

Hello from the sunny but oh so cold (at the moment) state of Florida.  Olivia and I were going through such Luca withdrawl that we had to drive down the Florida to see him.  No really, I'm serious.  When Olivia finally saw him after the 3 weeks apart and a 13 hour car ride she was excited beyond words...meaning she was actually at a loss for her favorite words and in turn could only squeak and laugh while running circles around him.  Very cute.

The first night we got here was pretty much non stop monkeys jumping on the bed.  I managed to get a picture of O in mid-air. 










Since the weather here was so cold today Max brought us to.....The Greatest Show on Earth! 

Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey circus was in town.  Olivia was being so verbal about the great time she was having, laughing, wow'ing, eeewwwwing and aaaaaaahhhing that the guy in front of us turned around laughing.  She was beside herself w/ all of the excitement.

Right across the street from where we are staying is a perfect little park w/a walkway leading down to the ocean.  It was FREEZING this afternoon but I couldn't be here another day with out even seeing the waves so the kids played and then took a short walk on the beach.

Happy Birthday Olivia!

First things first...let's see how much you've grown...stand nice and still and let's mark the wall with your big 2 year old height!

31.5" wow...you have grown 18.5" in two years!

Of course Mommy will measure Mr. Monkey too.

24 inches ... not bad for cute little monkey.

Next let's take a peek at how your feet have grown.

These little piggies sure do work hard taking you here and there and everywhere.  Your Dad and I where just reminiscing about how happy we were when the nurse brought the copy of your little foot prints to us just minutes after you were born.

Now that the serious birthday stuff is taken care of let's check in with Daddy and help set up your new playroom.

Maybe even play in it a little.

Even invite a friend to join you.

Whew...after all this work and play it's time for a snack.  Who knew you liked hummus so much...you ate it...

and ate it....

Double chipping even. 

But then off for more fun playing the Wii.
